The MK Band

A cross between Mumford and Sons and Jason Derulo playing your favourite rock and pop tunes with either electric guitars or double bass, banjo and acoustic instruments! Great for dancing and entirely unique. The musicians are the same guys week in week out and include some of the UK’s top session musicians. They have shared stages and performed on albums with the likes of James Bourne, Wretch 32, Dappy, Status Quo, Roger Daltrey, and Paul Gilbert, and have performed on many of the West Ends top muscials including Jersey Boys, Wicked, Bat Out Of Hell and School of Rock.

Price From

The MK Band started way back in 2007 and since then have played over 50 events and weddings a year. They’ve clocked up over 2.5million hits on their Youtube, travelled all over the world for events, and even won a television show in france looking for the world’s best cover band. They cover as many styles of popular music as possible. UK garage, 60s rock ‘n’ roll, 90s dance, current pop all feature in the bands setlist. They were the first band in the UK to start offering a Mumford and Sons festival style set. They offer two distinct styles. The first an upbeat folk style where they play modern and classic rock and pop tunes in their own folky style on violin, mandolin, acoustic guitars and double bass. The second style is more standard rock and pop, but, unlike many other party bands, they perform their own arrangements of popular songs, and plenty of non-stop medleys to keep the dance floor going from start to finish.

Line-up: Violin, mandolin, double bass, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitar, drums and male vocals.
