Over the years John has also recorded with artists including Paul Jones, Jools Holland and members of Dr. Feelgood.
Fans of “The Commitments” and “The Blues Brothers” films may have caught John in action previously as for many years he provided the bass and backing vocals with both Dave Finnegan’s Commitments and various touring Blues Brothers tribute shows. He has frequently performed from Dundee to Dubai with many stops in between. Shortly after a Blues Brothers’ tribute show in Hyde Park for The BBC’s “Last Night of the Proms” in 2012, John and his colleagues disbanded in search of fresh musical ventures.
